Parking in Perth is regulated by The City of Perth Parking (CPP)
Being the capital city, there is an expectation for services beyond those provided by metropolitan councils. There are different levels of parking which the fee structure reflects. The outer car parks are cheaper than those centrally located, encouraging motorists not to bring vehicles into the inner area and to use the free bus service, reducing smog and providing other environmental benefits.
